L'ostello di Maurice completamente terminato
Nell'attesa di fare le rifiniture nell'ostello di Alice, e di attendere che al terzo che abbiamo appena iniziato (TONNY RED WOMEN GROUP) siano pronte le fondamenta, Maurice ci ha mandato la comunicazione che il primo che abbiamo finanziato è completamente costruito. Ecco la mail compiaciuta di Maurice, e qualche foto dell'edificio!!
I’m happy to state that fixing of all shutters of the humanist hostel in Bridgeview are already accomplished. Work of plastering is in progress and is likely to be over by August 10. I’ll definitely send to you pictures of the building when work completes.
I do hope the hostel in Lower Nyakach – that of Alice will be completed when she comes back from her trip in Germany. I would also like to commend that it was a bright idea to have a hostel built in Kisumu since the City is the central meeting point which co-ordinates all other places in the region.
At the end of this month (JULY) children will be on end term holiday for 4 weeks. The Chief priority for our young school Bridgeview is to bring up very capable children who would do well in the very competitive national and other examinations. It is important that they find positions in life when they grow up.
However, what is lacking are learning materials, among other things, especially books and writing materials. That is the most important section in a learning institution if academic excellence is to be realized. Learning or Education is a continuous process in life, just like feeding.
